Locality: United States, Texas, Val Verde, Along NE bank of Devils River between Bluff Canyon and Phillips Canyon. Telephone Canyon Quadrangle. Elev. 1500 - 1540 ft.
Habitat and Description: Occasional in live oak/guajillo woodland on mesic rubble slope below SW-facing limestone bluff. Associates include: Acacia berlandieri, Bernardia myricifolia, Carlowrightii texana, Celtis pallida, C. reticulata, Clematis drummondii, C. pitcheri, Colubrina texensis, Condalia hookeri, Croton incanus, Diospyros texanus, Forestiera reticulata, Fraxinus greggii, Galactia sp., Guaiacum angustifolium, Parietaria obtusa, Ptelea trifoliata, Quercus fusiformis, Q. pungens var. vaseyana, Rhus virens, Smilax bona-nox, Sophora secundiflora, Tinantia anomala, Toxicodendron sp., Ungnadia speciosa.
