Locality: United States, Texas, Val Verde, ALong old road to snowbell site, ca. 0.8 airmiles NNW of Dolan Falls. Dolan Falls Preserve. Dolan Springs Quadrangle. Elev. ca. 1400 ft.
Habitat and Description: Rare in cenizo-guajillo medium-stature shrubland on gentle slope underlain by Edwards Limestone, on lower slopes in canyon of Devils River. Associates include: Acacia berlandieri, Agave lechuguilla, Bauhinia lunarioides, Calliandra conferta, Diospyros texana, Ephedra antisyphilitica, Gutierrezia microcephala, Heliotropium torreyi, Leucophyllum frutescens, Matelea sagittifolia, Opuntia lindheimeri, Salvia ballotiflora, Sophora secundiflora, Telosiphonia macrosiphon, Yucca reverchonii.
