Habitat and Description: Common in shade of oak-pecan grove on alluvial terrace at Grass Patch Springs. Woody associates include Quercus fusiformis, Q. polymorpha, Carya illinoinensis, Smilax bona-nox, Sideroxylon lanuginosum, Eysenhardtia texana, Diospyros texana, Cissus incisa, Ptelea trifoliata, Toxicodendron sp., Leucaena retusa, Ungnadia speciosa, Sophora secundiflora, Celtis reticulata, Berberis trifoliolata, Rhus virens, Acacia berlandieri, Vitis cf. rupestris.
