Habitat and Description: Occasional in moist silt and limestone gravel on streambank and Edwards Limestone exposed on scour plain of flood-prone stream in bottom of broad canyon. Associates include Andropogon glomeratus, Bacopa monnieri, Cephalanthus occidentalis, Cladium jamaicense, Cyperus elegans, Eleocharis rostellata, Eupatorium serotinum, Fuirena simplex, Hydrocotyle verticillata, Justicia americana, Lemna valdiviana, Mitreola petiolata, Phragmites communis, Platanus occidentalis, Rhynchospora colorata, Samolus parviflorus, Solidago juliae, Verbena scabra.
