Habitat and Description: Occasional in moist alluvial sand in unshaded scour plain of Pedernales River. Associates include Amorpha fruticosa, Aster subulatus, Baccharis neglecta, Calibrachoa parviflora, Cynodon dactylon, Cyperus odoratus, Eclipta prostrata, Eupatorium serotinum, Fuirena simplex, Iva angustifolia, Panicum virgatum, Ricinus communis, Salix nigra, Samolus parviflorus, Sesbania drummondii, S. vesicaria, Sorghum halepense, Verbesina brasiliense, Veronica anagallis-aquatica, Xanthium strumarium.
