Habitat and Description: Rare in area, noted only along margin of tall-stature thornscrub in drainageway fairly high on gently undulating landscape underlain by Yegua Formation. Associates include Abutilon abutiloides, Acacia rigidula, Aloysia gratissima, Celtis pallida, Croton ciliatoglandulifer, Karwinskia humboldtiana, Lycium berlandieri, Prosopis glandulosa.
