Habitat and Description: Occasional in young deciduous forest on loamy to clayey soils on broad floodplain. Forest mostly Fraxinus pensylvanica / Acer negundo / Forestiera acuminata. Other associates include Celtis laevigata, Eupatorium coelestinum, Mikania scandens, Elymus virginicus.
