Habitat and Description: Rare, local in exotics-dominated hay meadow on reddish-brown sandy loam on gently rolling upland underlain by Lissie Formation. Associates include Acalypha radians, Ammoselinum popei, Aphanostephus skirrhobasis, Bothriochloa saccharoides, Bouteloua rigidiseta, Cenchrus spinifex, Cirsium texanum, Commelina erecta, Daucus pusillus, Dichanthium annulatum, Digitaria cognata, Gaillardia suavis, Gaura brachycarpa, Hedyotis nigricans, Hermannia texana, Hymenopappus artemisiifolius, Limnodea arkansana, Linum rigidum, L. imbricatum, Lithospermum incisum, Oenothera laciniata, Polypremum procumbens, Rudbeckia hirta, Sabatia campestris, Schrankia uncinata.
