Habitat and Description: Rare in area, seemingly limited to well drained stony-gravelly-sandy alluvium on high unshaded bank of perennial stream. Associates include Aristida sp., Chloris cucullata, Euphorbia marginata, Gaura parviflora, Grindelia sp., Schizachyrium scoparium.
