Habitat and Description: Low shrub; petals white; occasional in grassland on shallow stony clay on gentle slope underlain by Goodland Limestone. Associates include Allium drummondii, Amsonia ciliata, Androstephium caeruleum, Aristida purpurea, Asclepias asperula, Bouteloua pectinata, Callirhoe pedata., Calylophus sp., Carex planostachys, Cirsium undulatum, Dalea reverchonii, Engelmannia peristenia, Erioneuron pilosum, Erodium texanum, Eriogonum longifolium, Eryngium leavenworthii, Gaillardia pulchella, Hymenopappus tenuifolius, Linum rigidum, Lupinus texensis, Muhlenbergia reverchonii, Oenothera macrocarpa, O. triloba, Pediomelum hypogaeum, P. latestipulatum, Penstemon sp., Phyllanthus polygonoides, Plantago helleri, Salvia texana, Scutellaria drummondii, S. wrightii, Senna roemeriana, Tetraneuris linearifolia, T. scaposa, Thelesperma filifolium.
