Habitat and Description: Occasional but inconspicuous in pasture grassland on Windthorst fine sandy loam on gentle slope underlain by Antlers Sand, just above upper edge of Clear Creek valley. Associates include Achillea millefolium, Ambrosia psilostachya, Arenaria serpyllifolia, Bromus catharticus, Carduus nutans, Castilleja indivisa, Coelorachis cylindrica, Cyperus spp., Dichanthelium oligosanthes, Hordeum pusillum, Lathyrus hirsutus, Lolium multiflorum, Medicago minima, Nassella leucotricha, Opuntia lindheimeri, Panicum virgatum, Paspalum setaceum, Rumex pulcher, Schedonnardus paniculatus, Solanum dimidiatum, Sorghum halepense, Verbena halei.
