Habitat and Description: Frequent in bottomland pasture on fine sandy loam, edge of riparian woodland. Associates include Callirhoe involucrata, Camelina microcarpa, Chloris verticillata, Cirsium texanum, Cnidoscolus texanus, Commelina erecta, Cynodon dactylon, Eragrostis curtipedicellata, Euphorbia dentata, Hordeum pusillum, Hymenopappus scabiosaeus, Lepidium austrinum, L. virginicum, Lolium multiflorum, Medicago minima, Mirabilis nyctaginea, Oenothera laciniata, Pyrrhopappus sp., Rumex pulcher, Silene antirrhina, Sisymbrium officinale, Solanum dimidiatum, Sonchus sp., Sorghum halepense, Toxicodendron sp., Verbena halei.
