Locality: United States, Texas, Val Verde, Amistad National Recreation Area: East arm of Cow Creek. Sample plot no. 67. Box Canyon Quad (1:24,000).
Habitat and Description: Steep, rocky (limestone) slopes just above highly disturbed former inundation zone; guajillo-blackbrush shrubland. With Diospyros texana, Karwinskia humboldtiana, Dasylirion texanum, Heliotropium torreyi, Calliandra conferta, and Agave lechuguilla. Infrequent perennial to 30 cm. NPS Accession No.: AMIS-00291.
