Locality: United States, Texas, Val Verde, Amistad National Recreation Area: Lowry Springs. Sample plot no. 15. Rough Canyon & Satan Canyon Quads (1:24,000).
Habitat and Description: Frequently scoured, rocky (limestone) intermittent streambed; buttonbush-Roosevelt weed-creek indigo very open shrubland with King Ranch bluestem, frogfruit, and Bermuda grass. With Baccharis neglecta, Cephalanthus occidentalis, Bothriochloa ischaemum var. songarica, Phyla nodiflora, Indigofera lindheimeri, and Cynodon dactylon. Infrequent perennial to 40 cm.
