Locality: United States, Texas, Val Verde, Amistad National Recreation Area: Highway 277 South, lower picnic area, head of south fork of San Pedro Creek. Sample plot no. 44. Del Rio NW Quad (1:24,000).
Habitat and Description: Rocky (limestone) soil on north-facing slope at upper edge of former inundation zone; Roosevelt weed-retama woodland with yellow star-thistle and white mulberry. With Centaurea melitensis, Baccharis neglecta, Parkinsonia aculeata, and Morus alba. Rare shrub to 1 m. NPS Accession No.: AMIS-00291. NPS Catalog No.: AMIS 41441.
