Locality: United States, Texas, Val Verde, Amistad National Recreation Area: Hunt Area 2, east of firing range. Sample plot no. 57. California Creek Quad (1:24,000).
Habitat and Description: Gravelly (limestone), silty, south-facing slope in former inundation zone; huisache-Roosevelt weed-salt cedar shrubland with purple threeawn and mesquite . With Aristida purpurea, Prosopis glandulosa, Baccharis neglecta, Tamarix ramosissima, and Acacia minuata. Rare perennial to 60 cm. Rays and discs yellow. NPS Accession No.: AMIS-00291.
