Habitat and Description: Rocky (limestone), caliche, gently rolling uplands; guajillo-cenizo shrubland with mesquite, Texas persimmon, and Lindheimer pricklypear. With Leucophyllum frutescens, Acacia berlandieri, Prosopis glandulosa, Diospyros texana, and Opuntia engelmannii var. lindheimeri. Rare shrub to 1 m. NPS Accession No.: AMIS-00291.
