Locality: United States, Texas, Val Verde, Amistad National Recreation Area: Mouth of Canyon 6, small canyon along Devil's River just upstream and southwest of Big Satan Canyon. Sample plot no. 6. Satan Canyon Quad (1:24,000).
Habitat and Description: Gravelly (limestone) floodplain in former inundation zone; pink pappusgrass grassland with creek indigo, tatalencho, Lindheimer senna, beebrush, and Indian apple. With Pappophorum bicolor, Indigofera lindheimeri, Gymnosperma glutinosa, Senna lindheimeri, Datura inoxia, and Aloysia gratissima. Rare perennial to 40 cm. NPS Accession No.: AMIS-00291.
