Locality: United States, Texas, Val Verde, Amistad National Recreation Area: Mouth of Canyon 6, small canyon along Devil's River just upstream and southwest of Big Satan Canyon. Sample plot no. 6. Satan Canyon Quad (1:24,000).
Habitat and Description: Deep silty soils on very gently sloping upper edge of inundation zone; King Ranch bluestem-buffelgrass-pink pappusgrass grassland with huisache and mesquite. With Bothriochloa ischaemum var. songarica, Cenchrus ciliaris, Pappophorum bicolor, Acacia minuata, and Prosopis glandulosa. Rare perennial to 1 m. NPS Accession No.: AMIS-00291.
