Habitat and Description: Rare in deciduous forest on gentle to fairly steep rocky NE-facing slope underlain by Goodland Limestone and Walnut Clay. Associates include Arenaria serpyllifolia, Carex retroflexa and other Carex spp., Cerastium glomeratum, Chaerophyllum tainturieri, Cocculus carolinus, Cornus drummondii, Dichanthelium spp., Galium circaezans, Geum canadense, Ilex decidua, Myosotis macrosperma, Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Pellaea atropurpurea, Lonicera albiflora, Prunus mexicana, Quercus buckleyi, Quercus muhlenbergii, Sanicula canadensis, Smilax bona-nox, Stellaria media, Symphoricarpos orbiculatus, Ulmus americana, U. crassifolia, Ungnadia speciosa, Viburnum rufidulum, Cercis canadensis, Viola sp.
