Habitat and Description: Occasional in herbaceous vegetation on very shallow, well drained, calcareous, moderately alkaline gravelly clay loam on level bench underlain by limestone and clay of the Kiamichi Formation. Associates include Aegilops cylindrica, Allium drummondii, Aristida sp., Asclepias asperula, Bifora americana, Bouteloua rigidiseta, Bromus japonicus, Buchloe dactyloides, Callirhoe pedata, Calylophus berlandieri, Coreopsis wrightii, Dyschoriste linearis, Erioneuron pilosum, Evax prolifera, Gaillardia pulchella, Hordeum pusillum, Hybanthus verticillatus, Krameria lanceolata, Limnodea arkansana, Linum rigidum, Medicago minima, Pediomelum latestipulatum, Phyllanthus polygonoides, Physaria densiflora, Polygala alba, Salvia texana, Sedum nuttallianum, Setaria reverchonii, Stillingia texana, Tetraneuris scaposa, Valerianella amarella.
