Locality: United States, Texas, Medina, E side of mesic canyon of Medina River along Medina Diversion Reservoir near Knox Miller property. Medina Lake Quadrangle.

Habitat and Description: Perhaps a dozen individuals climbing high into trees in evergreen-deciduous woodland on rubble slope at base of W-facing bluff of Edwards Limestone just above contact with the Glen Rose Limestone. Principal associates include Quercus buckleyi, Q. fusiformis, Juni-perus ashei, Sophora secundiflora, Diospyros texana, Condalia hookeri, Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Chasmanthium latifolium. Site is shaded in afternoon by line of Taxodium distichum and Platanus occidentalis on shoreline of nearby reservoir. Edwards Plateau endemics in immediate vicinity include Buddleja racemosa, Carex edwardsiana, Clematis texensis, Galactia texana.
