Habitat and Description: Rare in area, restricted to caliche well pad ca. in clearing within Havard oak - sandsage vegetation on gently rolling sand of Holocene sand sheet. Associates include Ambrosia psilostachya, Aristida sp., Baccharis neglecta, Chloris cucullata, C. verticillata, Dyssodia papposa, Grindelia squarrosa, Gutierrezia sarothrae, Peganum harmala, Proboscidea louisianica, Psilostrophe sp., Solanum elaeagnifolium, S. rostratum, Sphaeralcea angustifolia.
