Habitat and Description: Common in riparian woodland on clayey to silty soils on low alluvial terrace. Woody associates include Acer negundo, Ampelopsis arborea, Arundo donax, Campsis radicans, Carya illinoinensis, Celtis laevigata, Cornus drummondii, Ehretia anacua, Fraxinus berlandieriana, Ligustrum japonicum, Lonicera japonica, Melia azedarach, Morus alba, Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Ptelea trifoliata, Sabal sp., Salix nigra, Sambucus canadensis, Sapindus saponaria var. drummondii, Smilax bon-nox, Toxicodendron sp., Ulmus americana, U. crassifolia, Vitis cinerea, V. mustangensis. Common or characteristic herbaceous species include Allium canadense var. canadense, Ambrosia trifida, Bromus unioloides, Calyptocarpus vialis, Chaerophyllum tainturieri, Chasmanthium latifolium, Clematis pitcheri, Dicliptera brachiata, Erigeron philadelphicus, Galium aparine, Lactuca floridana, L. ludoviciana, Malvaviscus arboreus, Nemophila phacelioides, Parietaria pensylvanica, Plantago major, Poa annua, Ranunculus muricatus, Scandix pecten-veneris, Tinantia anomala, Torilis arvensis, Verbesina virginica.
