Habitat and Description: Occasional among protective flood detritus in heavily grazed deciduous riparian woodland on somewhat sandy alluvium, high river terrace. Woody associates include Acer negundo, Ampelopsis arborea, Campsis radicans, Capsicum annuum, Carya illinoinensis, Celtis laevigata, Cephalanthus occidentalis, Cornus drummondii, Diospyros texana, Guaiacum angustifolium, Morus alba, M. rubra, Populus deltoides, Quercus virginiana, Rubus riograndis, Salix nigra, Sapindus saponaria, Sideroxylon lanuginosum, Smilax bona-nox, Solanum triquetrum, Toxicodendron sp., Ulmus crassifolia, Vitis mustangensis. NPS accession no. SAAN-00304, NPS catalog no. 20328.
