Habitat and Description: Occasional in patch of relatively undisturbed grassland on Frio clay loam of old floodplain, between exotic hay meadow and fenceline. Associates include Agalinis strictifolia, Aristida purpurea, Aster ericoides, Bothriochloa laguroides var. torreyana, Desmanthus virgatus var. depressus, Eragrostis intermedia, Florestina tripteris, Hedeoma drummondii, Helianthus maximiliani, Hymenopappus scabiosaeus, Mimosa latidens, Schizachyrium scoparium, Viguiera dentata. NPS accession no. SAAN-00304, NPS catalog no. 20411.
