Habitat and Description: Rare under older pecans in narrow strip of riparian woodland bordering Acequia de Espada (active irrigation channel), on calcareous clay loam of floodplain of San Antonio River. Associates include Acer negundo, Allium canadense, Ambrosia trifida, Ampelopsis arborea, Aster sp., Bromus catharticus, Calyptocarpus vialis, Campsis radicans, Carya illinoinensis, Celtis laevigata, Chasmanthium latifolium, Clematis pitcheri, Cornus drummondii, Dichanthelium oligosanthes, Elymus virginicus, Erigeron philadelphicus, Ficus carica, Galium aparine, Lactuca floridana, Lactuca ludoviciana, Ligustrum japonicum, Lonicera japonica, Malvaviscus arboreus, Melia azedarach, Morus alba, Nemophila phacelioides, Onosmodium bejariense, Parietaria pensylvanica, Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Paspalum langei, Populus deltoides, Ptelea trifoliata, Salix nigra, Sambucus canadensis, Sapindus saponaria, Smilax bona-nox, Sorghum halepense, Torilis arvensis, Toxicodendron sp., Verbesina virginica, Viguiera dentata, Vitis cinerea, V. mustangensis.
