Habitat and Description: Locally common, often along margins of red ant colonies, on Venus clay loam in old field / exotic hay meadow on undulating terrace along E side of San Antonio River floodplain. Dominants include Sorghum halepense and Cynodon dactylon; other associates include over 100 weedy forbs and grass species. NPS accession no. SAAN-00304, NPS catalog no. 20063.
