Habitat and Description: Locally common on short stretch of unshaded bank of irrigation channel otherwise lined by weedy deciduous woodland. Associates include Bidens laevis, Carex emoryi, Colocasia esculenta, Cyperus ochraceus, Eichhornia crassipes, Echinochloa walteri, Hydrocotyle verticillata, Melothria pendula, Mikania scandens, Strophostyles helvula, Thelypteris ovata var. lindheimeri.
