Habitat and Description: Occasional in riparian woodland on Frio clay loam, on narrow terrace. Associates include Acer negundo, Allium canadense var. canadense, Ambrosia trifida, Ampelopsis arborea, Aster sp., Calyptocarpus vialis, Campsis radicans, Carya illinoinensis, Celtis laevigata, Chaerophyllum tainturieri, Chasmanthium latifolium, Clematis pitcheri, Cornus drummondii, Dicliptera brachiata, Elymus virginicus, Fraxinus berlandieriana, Galium aparine, Lactuca spp., Ligustrum japonicum, Lonicera japonica, Malvaviscus arboreus, Melia azedarach, Nemophila phacelioides, Parietaria pensylvanica, Rubus trivialis, Sabal sp., Salix nigra, Sambucus canadensis, Sapindus saponaria, Scandix pecten-veneris, Smilax bona-nox, Tinantia anomala, Torilis arvensis, Toxicodendron radicans, Ulmus crassifolia, Verbesina virginica.
