Habitat and Description: Common in silty loamy alluvium in shade of young deciduous riparian woodland dominated by Celtis laevigata. Associates include Acer negundo, Allium canadense, Ambrosia trifida, Aster sp., Bromus catharticus, Calyptocarpus vialis, Campsis radicans, Carex sp., Carya illinoinensis, Celtis laevigata, Chasmanthium latifolium, Clematis pitcheri, Cornus drummondii, Elymus virginicus, Galium aparine, Geranium sp., Lactuca sp., Ligustrum japonicum, Lonicera japonica, Malvaviscus arboreus, Melia azedarach, Nemophila phacelioides, Parietaria pensylvanica, Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Populus deltoides, Rubus riograndis, Sambucus canadensis, Sapindus drummondii, Sideroxylon lanuginosum, Smilax bona-nox, Solanum triquetrum, Tinantia anomala, Torilis arvensis, Toxicodendron rydbergii, Verbesina virginica.
