Habitat and Description: Rare in calcareous loamy soil in shade of riparian woodland along E bank of old channel of San Antonio River (E of excavated new channel). Associates include Acer negundo, Allium canadense var. canadense, Ambrosia trifida, Ampelopsis arborea, Aster sp., Calyptocarpus vialis, Campsis radicans, Carya illinoinensis, Celtis laevigata, Chaerophyllum tainturieri, Chasmanthium latifolium, Clematis pitcheri, Cornus drummondii, Dicliptera brachiata, Elymus virginicus, Fraxinus berlandieriana, Galium aparine, Lactuca spp., Ligustrum japonicum, Lonicera japonica, Malvaviscus arboreus, Melia azedarach, Nemophila phacelioides, Parietaria pensylvanica, Plantago major, Ranunculus muricatus, Rubus trivialis, Sabal sp., Salix nigra, Sambucus canadensis, Sapindus saponaria, Scandix pecten-veneris, Smilax bona-nox, Tinantia anomala, Torilis arvensis, Toxicodendron rydbergii, Ulmus americana, U. crassifolia, Verbesina virginica.
