Habitat and Description: Common weed in bermudagrass lawn on compacted urban soils. Associates include Bromus catharticus, Buchloe dactyloides, Cenchrus spinifex, Chloris cucullata, Cynodon dactylon, Cyperus rotundus, Nassella leucotricha, Acleisanthes obtusa, Alternanthera caracasana, Amaranthus berlandieri, A. palmeri, Ambrosia confertiflora, Aphanostephus sp, Boerhavia diffusa, Bowlesia incana, Calyptocarpus vialis, Capsella bursa-pastoris, Commelina erecta, Convolvulus equitans, Cooperia drummondii, Erodium cicutarium, Euphorbia prostrata, Gaura parviflora, Glandularia pumila, Justicia pilosella, Lactuca serriola, Lamium amplexicaule, Lepidium sp, Malva parvifolia, Malvastrum coromandelianum, Medicago minima, M. polymorpha, Monolepis nuttallianus, Nama jamaicense, Oxalis dillenii, Parthenium hysterophorus, Poa annua, Rhynchosida physocalyx, Ruellia nudiflora var. runyonii, Sisymbrium irio, Sonchus asper, Stellaria media, Taraxacum officinale, Torilis arvensis, Tribulus terrestris, Verbena halei, Veronica arvensis, Veronica polita.
