Habitat and Description: Rare on mudflat in partial shade of narrow strip of hackberry-willow woodland. Associates include Acmella oppositifolia, Alternanthera philoxeroides, Ambrosia trifida, Ampelopsis arborea, Boehmeria cylindrica, Campsis radicans, Carya illinoinensis, Celtis laevigata, Cicuta maculata, Clematis drummondii, Colocasia esculenta, Eichhornia crassipes, Hydrocotyle verticillata, Iva annua, Ligustrum japonicum, Melia azedarach, Mikania scandens, Salix nigra, Schoenoplectus tabernaemontani, Teucrium canadense, Typha sp., Verbena brasiliense, Veronica anagallis-aquatica, Zizaniopsis miliacea.
