Habitat and Description: Rare in deep, well drained, noncalcareous loamy fine sandy (Wilco Series) over Weches Formation in seldom plowed, occasionally mown tame pasture. Associates include Cynodon dactylon, Sorghum halepense, Galium aparine, G. virgatum, Anemone berlandieri, Oenothera speciosa, Pyrrhopappus pauciflorus. NPS accession no. SAAN-00304, NPS catalog no. 20151.
