Habitat and Description: Frequent patches in openings in weedy transitional woodland of Celtis laevigata, Prosopis glandulosa, small Carya illinoinensis on formerly cultivated river terrace. Other woody associates include Acacia minuata, Acer negundo, Aloysia gratissima, Baccharis neglecta, Celtis pallida, Colubrina texensis, Condalia hookeri, Cornus drummondii, Diospyros texana, Ehretia anacua, Eysenhardtia texana, Lonicera japonica, Melia azedarach, Opuntia lindheimeri, Parkinsonia aculeata, small Quercus virginiana, Sapindus saponaria, Sideroxylon lanuginosum, Smilax bona-nox, Toxicodendron sp., Vitis cinerea, V. mustangensis, Yucca constricta, Y. treculeana, Ziziphus obtusifolius.
