Habitat and Description: Uncommon in dry (due to prolonged drought) Texas Coastal: irregularly flooded Tidal salt/brackish marsh on level to gently sloping topography of the Quatrenary Rio Grande alluvium. Plant associations include: Borrichia frutescens, Batis maritime, Prosopis reptans, Sporobolus virginicus, Spartina spartinae, Monanthochloe littoralis.
