Habitat and Description: Rare in partial shade of Salix nigra on alluvial sandy clay on flat at upper edge of small stock tank, just E and downhill from main barn on LO Unit of Dixon Ranch. Associates include Amaranthus rudis, Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Aster subulatus, Chamaesyce serpens, Conyza canadensis, Croton monanthogynus, Eclipta prostrata, Eragrostis cilianensis, Leptochloa mucronata, Panicum capillare, P. dichotomiflorum, Paspalum pubiflorum, Pluchea sp., Rumex sp., Solanum ptycanthum, Tridens albescens, Xanthium strumarium.
