Habitat and Description: Annual; corolla 2-lipped, pale lavender; occasional in herbaceous vegetation on unshaded shoreline of stock tank in shallow valley between gentle slopes underlain by Cretaceous limestone and otherwise supporting prairie vegetation. Associates include Amaranthus rudis, Aster subulatus, Bergia texana, Cardiospermum halicacabum, Chamaesyce nutans, C. nutans, Cynodon dactylon, Eclipta prostrata, Leptochloa filiformis, Paspalum dilatatum, P. distichum.
