Habitat and Description: Occasional in open shrubland on large outcrop of volcanic conglomerate of the Soledad Member of the Catahoula Formation. Vegetation dominated by Acacia rigidula, Mimosa sp., Jatropha dioica, Sedum nuttallianum, and Bouteloua aristidoides. Other associates in-cluded Acalypha sp., Acleisanthes anisophylla, A. obtusa, Ambrosia con-fertiflora, Amoreuxia wrightii, Aphanostephus ramosissimus, Astrolepis sinuata, Colubrina texensis, Commelina erecta, Croton incanus, Cyperus sp., Echinocereus enneacanthus, Froelichia gracilis, Gaura brachycarpa, Geranium sp., Gilia incisa, Helenium amarum, Karwinskia humboldtiana, Limnodea arkansana, Linaria sp., Lithospermum matamorense, Mammil-laria heyderi, Mecardonia procumbens, Mentzelia oligosperma, Nassella leucotricha, Palafoxia texana, Parietaria pensylvanica, Parthenium confer-tum, Phyllanthus polygonoides, Plantago rhodosperma, Quincula lobata, Salvia ballotiflora, Senna lindheimeriana, Sida abutifolia, Spermolepis echinata, Thymophylla tenuiloba, Verbena canescens, Wedelia hispida.
