Locality: U.S.A., Texas, Bexar, On rather steep N to NE facing clay slope above W bank of old San Antonio River channel, immediately NE of (downslope from) Mission Espada, ca. 0.2 mi. S of I-410 bridges. San Antonio Missions NHP. Southton Quadrangle. [Databaser note: latitude and longitude noted on sheet as "+/- 19.4 ft."]. Elev. 500 - 520 ft.

Habitat and Description: Leaflets mostly 15-17, fruit 4 cm in diameter, trees not particularly numerous but dominant due to large diameter (3-4 ft. in a few cases) and broad canopy spread, in strip of decidous forest otherwise packed with small Celtis laevigata and Melia azedarach. Associates include Acacia minuata, Acer negundo, Ambrosia trifida, Antigonon leptopus, Carya illinoinensis, Celtis laevigata var. laevigata, Celtis pallida, Chasmanthium latifolium, Clematis drummondii, Diospyros texana, Elymus virginicus, Galium aparine, Ligustrum japonicum, L. sinense, Mahonia trifoliata, Malvaviscus arboreus, Melia azedarach, Merremia dissecta, Mirabilis jalapa, Morus alba, Nassella leucotricha, Prosopis glandulosa, Sabal cf. mexicana, Sambucus canadensis, Smilax bona-nox, Tillandsia recurvata, Torilis arvensis, Ulmus crassifolia, Viguiera dentata, and Vitis mustangensis.
