Habitat and Description: In herbaceous vegetation in unshaded ditches leading to small natural ponds on floodplain of Sabine River. Associates include Carex lupulina, Dichanthelium scoparium, Galium tinctorium, Juncus marginatus, Persicaria sp., Phalaris angustata, Ranunculus pusillus, Ranunculus sp., Saururus cernuus. Locally common.
