Habitat and Description: In herbaceous vegetation on deep somewhat xeric sand on gentle lower slopes along upper edge of floodplain of major stream, S edge of Little River floodplain. Associates include Aphanostephus skirrhobasis, Cnidoscolus texanus, Croton argyranthemus, Paronychia drummondii, Paspalum setaceum, Phlox drummondii, Quercus incana, Tephrosia onobrychoides, Tradescantia sp. Locally common.
