Associates include Croton willdenowii, Dichanthelium scoparium, Diodia virginiana, Eupatorium capillifolium, Fimbristylis autumnalis, Helenium amarum, Juncus validus, Lythrum alatum, Phyllanthus caroliniensis, Polypremum procumbens, Rhexia mariana. Common.
