Habitat and Description: On ranch but locally common on grassier part of steep rocky W-facing slope of shallow but narrow ravine cut into Cretaceous limestone by wet-weather stream. Associates include Acacia angustissima, Bothriochloa ischaemum, Dyssodiopsis tagetoides, Grindelia sp., Houstonia nigricans, Liatris sp., Lygodesmia texana, Marshallia cespitosa, Oenothera macrocarpa, Pediomelum linearifolium, P. reverchonii, Rhus lanceolata, Schizachyrium scoparium, Stenosiphon linifolius, Stillingia texana. Rare.
