Associates include Ambrosia trifida, Andropogon glomeratus, Aster subulatus, Baccharis neglecta, Bothriochloa ischaemum, Chamaesyce maculata, Conyza canadensis, Croton lindheimerianus, C. monanthogynus, Cynodon dactylon, Eupatorium serotinum, Helenium elegans, Iva angustifolia, I. annua, Justicia americana, Paspalum pubiflorum, Salix nigra, Senna lindheimeriana, Sorghum halpense, Teucrium cubense, Xanthium strumarium.
