Habitat and Description: In alluvial sandy clay in dry bottom of mostly unshaded stock tank. Associates include Amaranthus rudis, Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Aster subulatus, Chamaesyce serpens, Conyza canadensis, Croton monanthogynus, Eclipta prostrata, Eragrostis cilianensis, Panicum capillare, P. dichotomiflorum, Paspalum pubiflorum, Pluchea sp., Rumex sp., Solanum ptycanthum, Tridens albescens, Xanthium strumarium. Annual; stems +/- erect; abundant.
