Habitat and Description: On ranch, noted only in exclosure in grassland on shallow clay loam on convex upland underlain by Goodland Limestone. Associates include Ambrosia psilostachya, Artemisia ludoviciana, Bothriochloa laguroides, Brickellia eupatorioides, Centaurea americana, Ditaxis mercurialina, Elymus canadensis, Euphorbia missurica, Gaillardia pulchella, Heliotropium tenellum, Krameria lanceolata, Phyllanthus polygonoides, Salvia azurea, Schizachyrium scoparium, Scutellaria drummondii, Sporobolus compositus. Rare.
