Habitat and Description: In diverse herbaceous vegetation in partial shade along sandy bottom and bank of entrenched perennial stream. Associates include Acer negundo, Amaranthus rudis, Ambrosia trifida, Ammannia coccinea, Amorpha fruticosa, Ampelopsis cordata, Bidens frondosa, Boehmeria cylindrica, Callicarpa americana, Campsis radicans, Carya illinoinensis, Chasmanthium latifolium, Conoclinium coelestinum, Cornus drummondii, Cynodon dactylon, Cyperus odoratus, Desmodium paniculatum, Dicliptera brachiata, Echinochloa sp., Eclipta prostrata, Elephantopus carolinianus, Equisetum laevigatum, Leucospora multifida, Mollugo verticillata, Panicum virgatum, Penthorum sedoides, Phyla nodiflora, Platanus occidentalis, Polygonum lapathifolium, P. punctatum, Salix nigra, Sesbania vesicaria, Strophostyles helvola, Toxicodendron sp., Ulmus americana, Verbena urticifolia, Verbesina helianthoides, Xanthium strumarium.
