Habitat and Description: In clay in unshaded bed of small stock tank on wet-weather drainageway on rolling topography underlain by Pecan Gap Chalk. Associates include Cardiospermum halicacabum, Cynodon dactylon, Cyperus ochraceus, C. odoratus, Echinochloa sp., Eclipta prostrata, Euphorbia prostrata, Glinus radiatus, Iva annua, Paspalum pubiflorum, Phyla nodiflora, Xanthium strumarium. Tepals pink; common.
